There words are made out of little holes punched into the body of the porcelain vessel. When the candle is lit, light pours through the holes to highlight them. Hand glazed in a Hydra white and filled with a beautifully fragranced wax.

A fragrance born of the soil, the sun and the opulent sweetness of fig: dewy, fresh and heavy on the tree, balanced with the warmth of musk, coconut, and amber - a fossilised resin so mysterious, the ancient Romans believed it came from a golden residue created when the rays of the sun struck the earth.

Dimensions are 7cm diameter and 9cm tall.

Created in Martha’s london studio in a limited edition of 20. The hand made nature of the individually punched holes makes each one unique within the edition. Check the image carefully for this pots individual characteristics before purchasing.
